Tuition & Payments

Tuition & Auto-Draft Policy


A valid credit or debit card must remain on file for all enrolled students.


Tuition is automatically drafted on the 15th of each month. Families may make payments early between the 1st and 12th of the month through any of the following methods:


  • Parent Portal (processing fees may apply)
  • Zelle: keyofdancellc@gmail.com
  • Credit/Debit Card at the studio


Making an early payment will satisfy the month's tuition obligation and will prevent a duplicate tuition draft.


Tuition Structure


Tuition is based on enrollment for the entire dance season, not the number of classes attended each month. Annual tuition is divided into ten equal monthly installments.


Monthly tuition rates are not adjusted for studio closures, holidays, or scheduled breaks, including but not limited to:


  • Labor Day
  • Fall Break
  • Halloween
  • Thanksgiving Break
  • December Holiday Break
  • Winter Break
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • Spring Break


Monthly Tuition Rates


  • 1 Hour Per Week: $80/Per Month
  • 1.5 Hours per Week: $100/Per Month (All students 8 and over receives a minimum of 1.5 hours of ballet instruction per week)
  • 2 Hours Per Week: $120/Per Month
  • 2.5 Hours Per Week: $140/Per Month
  • 3 Hours Per Week: $160/Per Month
  • 3.5 Hours Per Week: $180/Per Month
  • 4 Hours Per Week: $200/Per Month
  • 4.5 Hour Per Week: $220/Month
  • 5 Hours Per Week: $240/Month
  • 5.5 Hours Per Week: $260/Month
  • 6 Hours Per Week: $280/Month
  • 6.5 Hours per Week: $300/Month
  • 7 Hours per Week: $320/Month


Students age 8 and older receive a minimum of 1.5 hours of ballet instruction per week.



Registration Fees


A non-refundable registration fee is due upon enrollment.

  • First Student: $50
  • Additional Siblings: $25 each


Registration fees apply to both new and returning students.


Sibling Discount


Families with multiple enrolled children residing in the same household qualify for the following discount:


  • First Child: Full Tuition
  • Second Child: 10% Discount
  • Additional Children: Same discounted rate as the second child




Recital/Costume Fee Schedule


One Class: $115

Two Classes: $165

Three Classes: $205

Four Classes: $255

Five Classes: $305

Six Classes: $355

Seven Classes: $405


Recital fees include:


  • Costumes
  • Costume accessories
  • Shipping costs


For students enrolled in multiple classes, additional fees cover additional costumes and required accessories.



Payment Schedule


  • First Installment Due: October
  • Final Installment Due: January


Costumes cannot be ordered until recital fees are paid in full.

Students with unpaid tuition or costume balances may not participate in performances.


Due to costume company policies, costume and recital fees are non-refundable once orders have been placed.


Holiday Performance & Community Giving 


Each year, In the Key of Dance presents a winter performance that combines artistic growth with community service.

To participate:


  • Students must be enrolled by October 14
  • A $50 Holiday Performance & Charity Fee is required


This fee supports a local charitable organization selected by the studio.

No costume purchase is required for the winter performance.


Late Fees & Returned Payments


Families will receive payment receipts after charges are processed. Invoices are not issued prior to scheduled tuition drafts.


  • A $25 late fee will be assessed on declined accounts beginning on the 16th of the month.
  • Returned checks are subject to a $25 NSF fee.
  • Tuition balances may not accumulate from month to month.


Students with outstanding balances may be restricted from classes, rehearsals, performances, and costume distribution until accounts are brought current.


Refund Policy


Tuition, registration fees, recital fees, costume fees, and performance fees are non-refundable.


No refunds or credits will be issued for:


  • Missed classes
  • Voluntary withdrawal during the season
  • Failure to attend performances or events



Payment Disputes & Chargebacks


By enrolling at Key of Dance, families agree to communicate directly with studio administration regarding billing concerns.


Initiating a credit card dispute, chargeback, or payment reversal may result in immediate suspension or termination of enrollment privileges pending review of the account.
